About Us
Petite Rouge was conceived 6 years ago by Eve Luis, out of passion for paint, furniture, shabby chic, country and anything with a French flair.
Our chalk paint and other decorative products are manufactured in South Africa to the highest of standards. Ensuring that the user, whether an absolute beginner or seasoned professional, will have the silkiest, smoothest, solid application everytime. Our paints are gorgeous on their own, but can be enhanced by our glazes, transfers, papers and techniques.
Our head office is based in a country house nestled in the heart of Ruimsig in Roodepoort, West of Johannesburg. We have transformed this beautiful thatch dwelling into a French Chateau with our products to showcase how durable, beautiful and easy they are to use.
We have a French Boudoir as well, where you can book a high tea with a friend and get swept back to 17th Century France. We also book out the Boudoir to photographers to do photoshoots, for a nominal fee.
We offer weekly workshops where you can learn the easy processes of transforming your drab furniture to fab. We also have a retail store where you can buy all our products.
There is a gift/décor shop available as well, La Rustic Rabbit, which offers finished décor and furniture items.
